María Fernanda Salinas Santos is a contemporary artist based in Monterrey, Mexico. Her journey into the art world began in 2014 with the founding of MF Espacios, a space where her creative exploration took root. From the start, María Fernanda immersed herself in experimenting with materials and forms, notably through the use of mirrors—playing with light, reflection, and perspective to create immersive visual experiences.
In 2022, her work took a bold and emotional turn with the launch of the "Melted Love" collection. Departing from the clean lines and geometric rigor of her earlier work, this series introduced fluid, organic forms that symbolize the raw and transformative nature of love. With irregular shapes that flow, fall, and separate, these sculptures explore the vulnerability and complexity of human emotion, while marking a powerful shift in her artistic evolution.
Her career expanded through her intricate sculptures defined by clean lines, harmonic vertices, and a minimalist yet impactful aesthetic. Geometry—especially the triangle—became a central visual language in her work, inviting viewers into a space of introspection and depth. Her pieces evoke a dialogue between form and feeling, abstraction and elegance.
María Fernanda’s work has been exhibited in Monterrey, Mexico City, and New York City, including a benefit auction in NYC. She also presented her sculptures at Art Dubai, and is represented by a gallery in the United Arab Emirates. Through her evolving practice, she continues to create emotionally resonant works that blend architectural precision with poetic storytelling—leaving an indelible mark on the world of contemporary art.
